Mrs. Serfass has been a member of the St. Bede's Parish since 1989.  She lives in Holland with her husband, Matthew and three children.  Mrs. Serfass has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education from the University of Delaware and Gratz College.  She is an experienced educator with 23 years of service in public education, where she has taught students across diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Throughout her career, she has been known for her student‑centered instruction, commitment to building strong classroom communities, and dedication to helping every learner grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

​Mrs. Serfass is now excited to join the SKD school community, where she looks forward to integrating her love of teaching with the faith‑based mission of nurturing the whole child. Mrs. Serfass brings a deep passion for literacy, character development, and fostering curiosity in her students.
