Mr. LaRosa has been a catholic school kid his whole life. He attended St.Mark’s in Bristol, PA and then Bishop Egan High School. Bill has taught in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for over thirteen years. His passion for the area of Physical Education started with St.Bede’s and has now continued to grow with the privilege of working here at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School! He enjoys the opportunity of interacting with the students on a daily basis. The two best things about working at SKD for Mr. LaRosa are the faculty and staff that he gets to work with on a daily basis, and the students. Bill is an avid lover of all things sports. He grew up with a huge admiration for the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Dallas Cowboys. Bill says that sometimes the “cowboys thing” doesn’t go over to well with the kids, but they can find common ground by sharing a love for the sport of football as a whole. Mr. LaRosa loves to travel, especially when it comes to following his favorite teams. He has a special appreciation for amusement parks and says that there’s not a ride that he won’t go on. These hobbies and more are quite fun, but for Bill the highlight of them all is doing them with his close friends and family.
