Mrs. Guarino was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1987 Mrs. Guarino moved to Holland with her husband where they raised two beautiful daughters. The importance of a good education lies deep for the Guarino family and dates back to Mr. & Mrs. Guarino’s personal experience of having attended Catholic School for thirteen years of their own. It was a no brainer for Mrs. Guarino that her daughters would also have the opportunity to attend Catholic school and the same now goes for her granddaughter. Before working here at St. Katharine Drexel School, Mrs. Guarino and her husband owned and operated two Italian pizzerias! Their very first shop was called Persi’s Pizza, located at the renowned New Jersey Shore. After 5 years, they relocated the family business closer to home and opened TJ’s Pizza in Newtown, PA for 20 wonderful years. When her oldest daughter was in first grade, Mrs. Guarino started as a volunteer at the school and eventually started working as the school secretary. She has been a part of the SKD School community ever since! Mrs. Guarino simply adores good music and her time at the beach. She was once on a talk show with Smokey Robinson.
