​Mrs. Flatley holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  After graduation, she moved to the Philadelphia area where she worked in pharmaceutical sales. She changed careers after earning a Master’s in Elementary Education from Holy Family University. She has experience teaching preschool, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.
 
Mrs. Flatley likes teaching children within a caring, Christian environment because it affords an opportunity to engage with her students both spiritually and academically.  She enjoys working in partnership with the dedicated educators and families in the SKD community.
 
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Flatley is a committed girl scout leader. She likes traveling and working on DIY projects around the house.  She loves spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
